A Beautiful Day

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful sealing.  It was awesome being able to see Meredith, Nick, Kemry and Sofie sealed together as a family.  The girls were little angels.  Meredith forgot to grab her camera in the dressing room, so we took a few pictures for her.  What an awesome day Rosenvalls!  We love you!

Halloween with the Brenchleys

Here are some pics of our kids from Halloween night and a couple pics of Shawn (The Hulk) and me (Wonder Woman) from our friend Halloween party!  We had a great Halloween this year - lots of fun parties and activities!

Here are a few pictures that we took from the fun party last night!  Everyone looked great in their costumes and the spook alley was truly spooky scary!  Great job guys!

Return to the 80s

Our friend had a surprise party for her husband's 40th birthday.  We were asked to come dressed 80s so we did just that.  Check out these pics of Shawn and I.  We had a great time and ended up winning the prize for best costumes!

Check out that hair! I think Beckie is thinking the same thing!

I think I look just like Holly in the above picture.  When I first put on the wig and showed Shawn, he said, "You look just like Holly." (Click on the picture to enlarge it - it's much easier to see.) Oh, and by the way, that is a sock in Shawn's zebra pants (just a disclaimer!)

Here' s the friends - Roscoe is second from left.  It was his surprise birthday party!

Shawn making our neighbor Casey a little uncomfortable!

Our complete ensemble - Shawn was the hit of the party and he unfortunately played the part all too well.  There was a lady there who had taken our family pictures a few years back and she asked another friend of mine if something had happened to my husband and who it was I was with!  She didn't recognize Shawn at all!

Cabin & Dad's Birthday

On dad's birthday we went to the cabin for a beautiful weekend - the colors and the weather were just right!  Couldn't have asked for anything better (except maybe better fishing!)

Dad smiling as we sing 'Happy Birthday!'

This is dad's huge carrot birthday cake - it may have been small but it was good!

Dad blowing out all 6 candles!

The colors at the cabin were beautiful.

The girls enjoyed playing Slap Jack, Go Fish and War with Grandma!

More beautiful pics . . .

I loved this beat up turquoise boat by the lake.  Wonder who it belongs to and if they'd sell?

The sun had been hiding behind clouds, and when it came out the reflection was amazing!

Max on the tire swing.

Grandma even got in on the swinging action - the girls thought it was fun to push her.

Alia acting crazy on the tree swing . . . I have a love hate relationship with this swing.  It makes me nervous!

The family enjoying the tree swing - they love it.  Abby actually got pretty hurt.  Max went down, Abby ran right in front of him, the stars aligned and Abby got hit pretty hard by Max's feet going full force.  Her face was full of dirt and she had some scratches and a bloody nose.  That was the end of the swing for this trip and maybe forever . . .
