Twilight the Movie (Meredith)

Bella Swan- This is exactly what I imagined Bella looking like what does everyone elese think?
Edward- Ok he is not exactly what I had in mind but I guess I will just have to see the movie to decide. What do you think of him?
The entire Cullin Family, now Alice fits my description in my mind to a 'T" and some of the others as well but some weren't what I was expecting at all... What do you think?

Ok So I have been following the Stephenie Meyer website to get the latest and the greatest about the movie Twilight... Here are a few pics of the cast who will play Edward, Bella and the entire Cullin Family... I must admit I was a little disappointed with some of their choices for the cast, but still so excited to see the movie...

Mango Pitter (Roxane)

Ok, just one more post for tonight. I must say, if you ever buy mangos, this tool is a necessity!! I bought a box full of mangos from Costco and was having the darndest time pitting them and getting the fruit out. Well, I picked this gem up at Williams Sonoma and have enjoyed eating mangos ever since! Don't buy a mango without it!

I Am Ready to Garden!!! (Roxane)

So, while I was putting our cruise pictures on the computer, I came across these pictures from my garden and it made me miss being outside that much more! I cannot wait to head outside and turn my soil! I love my garden and yard! Thanks dad for building awesome garden boxes for me - I love them!

A beautiful sunflower with the moon.

Zinnias - my favorite flower! Love the colors.

My garden - I can't wait for Spring!!!!

Caribbean Cruise (Roxane)

Thought I would post a few highlights from our cruise in January. We had a great time and the kids loved the Adventure Camp on board the ship - I don't think that they were bored a minute! I'm thinking that a cruise might make for a teriffic family trip sometime in the future!
The kids on the deck outside our room waiting for the ship to depart.

In Cozumel, we took the kids to a Dolphin Encounter. Max was old enough to swim with the dolphins and the girls got to touch, kiss and dance with the dolphins. Abby wasn't so sure about the whole thing - she wouldn't kiss the dolphin but decided it was ok to dance with it.

Shawn and the kids after our day in Cozumel. That mass of white in the background is the ship - it was ginormous! The windows that you can see are just the two bottom floors. There were 14! I still can't believe that it floated!

The girls on an island in Belize. They weren't a lot of kid-friendly excursions in Belize, so we took a boat ride to an island and spent the day there. It was perfect.

Max and Shawn went kayaking around the island, and spotted some starfish. When they got back the kids hunted them down and had a good time admiring them.

Book on Our Last Name

So I found this book "The Fjeldsted Name in History" at Target thought it was really neat... Go check it out, I think I might get it looks and sounds interesting. I think it would be neat to learn a little more about our last names history and some of our ancestors... I think you should all check it out...

Fun Craft Room

A view of her craft room
She uses glass jars to store ribbon, and twine.. Etc.. I love this picture because look at all that fun stuff.
Fabrics stored neatly and sorted by color Martha's Sewing Machine hooked up to her computer which is reading a CD-ROM for the nice detail she is putting on these napkins.

So I was on the Martha Stewart website and I found a few pictures of her craft room, and trust me this would be anyones dream craft room... It is so cute and so well organized I someday would love a room similar... Here are a few pics... For more ideas on anything you might want go here.

BEBE SHOOZ

I found this little sight and I think the shoes look adorable and very unique, you almost wouldn't even want your little girls to wear them but just have them for decoration in a bedroom or something... I think all the detail is fabulous... So check out BEBE SHOOZ. My favorite pair are the ones with the paisleys, and I also like the darling ones with the pink roses, oh goodness I like them all... Let me know which ones you like the best?

Stephenie Meyer Series

Ok so I know some of you have read this series by Stephenie Meyer, but I absolutly love them and want to recommend them to anyone who hasn't read them... I read the 1st book in 1 night and 1/2 a morning and I probably could of finished it in the one night if Nick would of let me continued reading... They are so addicting and marvelous and just plain out exciting... I am now almost done with the 2nd book and I still love them. I can't wait to see what happens. I think Stephenie Meyer's is Brilliant. If you click on her name it takes you to her website and I just read they are making a movie excellent it will be the best movie yet, well if they get all the right characters to play the roles... Anyways I just wanted to let everyone know you must read them if you haven't... OK let me know what you think???

Washcloth's and Mascara (MEREDITH)

Question for anyone with an idea??? I have all these washcloth's that are fairly new with make-up stains... It seems like I use them once and then they are forever damaged. Does anyone have an idea of how I can get these stains out from here on out or am I constantly going to have to replace replace replace?

Church Cancelled Due to Snow! (Roxane)

Ok - I just had to post this because I cannot remember the last time this happened! We have church at 1:00 and we got a call around 11:00 informing us that church has been cancelled today due to the snow! Needless to say, I wasn't too disappointed! This winter has been crazy - we have received so much snow and today we added 9 - 10 inches of new snow (and it's still snowing)! All of the neighbors have been out helping each other dig out and we haven't seen a snow plow come up our road yet. I'm so glad we get to stay home and chill! The top pic is a ruler I took out - there are three inches sticking out of the snow. The others are of Shawn plowing us out!
